Cancellations: the rules of your partner agreement
In « My agency » you choose the cancellation option of your bookings and what a no-show does. It is shown on your listings and at payment, and frozen on each booking when it is requested.
When the renter cancels
- Flexiblerental refunded in full up to 24 hours before pick-up, then at 50%.
- Moderate (default)rental refunded in full up to 72 hours before pick-up, then at 50%.
- Firmrental refunded in full up to 7 days before pick-up, at 50% up to 72 hours, then nothing.
Whatever the option: everything is refunded within the hour after acceptance; for 7 days after acceptance, and at the latest until pick-up, the renter may withdraw (Law No. 31-08, article 36) and is refunded everything except RentalMe's service fee. Delivery and options are refunded, except the delivery if the renter does not show up.
No-show: the rental and the delivery are kept; the options are refunded (default). Or, if you choose it, one rental day is kept and the rest refunded. What is kept goes to you, RentalMe's commission deducted.
When your agency cancels an accepted booking
The renter is refunded in full, service fee included, and the vehicle's dates stay blocked. You still owe RentalMe's commission and RentalMe's service fee (5% of the rental price), and a penalty on the rental price:

RentalMe's service fee (5% of the rental price) is billed to you on any booking cancelled after its acceptance, whatever the reason: cancellation by the renter, withdrawal, cancellation by the agency or no-show.

The renter also pays a 5% RentalMe service fee on the rental price, whatever the package. At acceptance, they pay the whole rental online, service fee included; RentalMe pays it out to the agency, commission deducted. Only the deposit is settled with the agency.
Commission rates are VAT included: on a 1,000 MAD rental on Fleet Light, the commission is 55.00 MAD including VAT, that is 45.83 MAD excluding VAT and 9.17 MAD of VAT; what the agency keeps does not change. A lower rate negotiated in your partner agreement applies instead. Moving up a package lowers the commission straight away; moving down applies at renewal. A booking already accepted keeps its rate.

Yes. Every agency is verified before listing its vehicles, and RentalMe checks each vehicle's insurance certificate before it goes online.
Yes. Nothing is charged until the agency accepts your request: if you cancel before that, the amount held on your card is released. Within an hour of acceptance, everything is refunded, service fee included. For 7 days after acceptance, and at the latest until pick-up, you may withdraw (Law No. 31-08, article 36): everything is refunded except RentalMe's service fee. After that, the agency's option applies: Flexible (rental refunded in full up to 24 hours before pick-up, then half), Moderate (72 hours, then half) or Firm (7 days, then half up to 72 hours, then nothing). What is kept is only ever the rental price: delivery and options are refunded, except the delivery after a no-show: the rental and the delivery are then kept, the options refunded. If the agency cancels, everything is refunded. The dates and amounts of your booking are shown at payment.
Contact the agency first for anything about the vehicle. In case of an accident, get everyone to safety, inform the agency and the authorities, and keep photos and documents. Our team can also be reached by email and WhatsApp before, during and after your rental.
Depending on the agency, you pick the vehicle up at the agency or have it delivered to the address of your choice or to the airport. Delivery fees are set by the agency, shown before you book and paid online with the rental.
Yes: the vehicle is insured by the agency and this insurance is included in the rental price. No extra insurance is sold at checkout. The agency's rental contract states what is covered and the excess amount.
The deposit is set by the agency and shown on the listing and in the rental contract. It is the only amount settled with the agency: it is requested at pick-up, for the amount and by the method shown, and returned when the vehicle comes back. Everything else is paid online at acceptance.

When a booking is accepted, the renter pays the whole rental online to RentalMe, service fee included. RentalMe pays you the rental price, the delivery and the options, its commission deducted: 5.5% of the rental price on Fleet Light, 3.5% on Fleet Control, 2.5% on Fleet Advanced, VAT included. Only the deposit is settled directly with you. If your partner contract sets a lower rate, that rate applies. You are paid monthly: the statement closes on the 23rd of each month at 23:59 and the transfer follows within 2 working days.
